Who are we?

The North Shore Light Opera Society (NSLOS)(pronounced Noslos) is a non-profit society that has been entertaining generations of audiences since 1948.  NSLOS has brought operetta, Gilbert and Sullivan, and Broadway musicals to North Vancouver and West Vancouver for dedicated theatre goers looking for high value, high quality shows on a local stage.  As the oldest, continuously-producing, musical theatre company in British Columbia, NSLOS has produced more than 75 shows in 75 years.  NSLOS also performs showlettes (compilations of operetta and musical highlights)  at senior living centres and high schools across the North Shore.  Every year, NSLOS offers the Harris-McLean Award, to a promising individual in their current show, to continue their musical and dramatic studies.
